The Job 

 We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in data modelling and analytics to support our operational and strategic decision-making.  

This position is ideal for someone passionate about analytics within hospitality, can identify trends in customer behaviour, and provide actionable insights to optimise marketing efforts, sales performance, and business development strategies. 


Key responsibilities will include:  

  Data Analysis & Reporting: 

  • Analyse large data sets across multiple platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, DesignMyNight, Dynamics CRM) to generate meaningful insights. 

  • Assist with the development of dashboards, scorecards, and visualisations to monitor KPI performance, such as lead conversion rates, pipeline velocity, sales attainment, and customer acquisition cost. 

  • Identify patterns, correlations, and root causes behind sales and marketing results to pinpoint areas of opportunity.                                        
 Data Modelling & Forecasting: 

  • Manage key relationships between data within our semantic model and assist with building out our centralised data dictionary. 

  • Build, evaluate, and refine data driven models to support revenue management, demand forecasting, lifetime value, and customer segmentation.                                                                                                                                                       

Data Management & Quality Assurance: 

  • Support the cleaning, validation, and organisation of data to ensure accuracy and reliability in analysis and reporting. 

  • Have a deep understanding of data sources and ensure the integrity of data in analytical processes, by supporting the implementation of data governance practices. 

Continuous Improvement & Innovation: 

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, analytics tools, and techniques to continually enhance the analytics function. 

  • Recommend and implement improvements to data collection processes and analytics tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll:  

  • Have a bachelor's degree in business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a similar discipline. 

  • Have proven experience as a Data Analyst in a previous role similar, ideally within the hospitality, travel, or a related customer-centric industry. 

  • Have experience in data modelling and trend analysis of marketing & revenue data 

  • Have an understanding of marketing best practices, sales funnels, lead generation techniques, and general business principles. 

  • Be able to demonstrate advanced skills in MS Excel and experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). 

  • Have advanced knowledge in data analysis tools and languages (e.g. SQL, R, Python) is a plus. 

  • Be comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data. 

  • Be a strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to structure complex analyses and draw actionable insights from data. 

  • Have knowledge of data visualisation techniques and experience presenting data insights to non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Be an effective communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working cross-functionally and engaging with diverse teams. 

  • Have solid experience collaborating closely with teams in sales, marketing, and product to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
