About the team

You will work closely with the Data Engineering team and the wider business to be a technical translator, collaborating with the business to obtain requirements and relaying back to the technical teams.

What you will be doing

In this role, you will provide technical data analysis services within the data engineering team to ensure the practical delivery of data initiatives in line with the Groups expectations.Β

Ensuring that our policies and standards are considered and supporting the creation of technical analysis and documentation in support of the Group Data Strategy.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Proactively engaging with the business regarding projects and develop technical documentation in response to business requirements
  • Working collaboratively with Change and IT to ensure that data is considered within projects and business as usual
  • Supporting the data engineering function, working to continuously improve processes and solutions in the Group across all data types
  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of data across key business areas, systems, processes and business relationships
  • Promoting a collaborative, cross functional approach to data knowledge sharing, contributing to cross functional teams as a data SME
  • Supporting the development of documentation to ensure initiatives are well documented from a data perspective
  • Providing technical support for all data related projects; providing guidance and support on data best practise

In return for your commitment

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between Β£50,000 - Β£55,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

Could you be the one?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Previous experience working collaboratively with stakeholders in translating business requirements to data teams
  • Experience working with Databases and an understanding of SQL
  • An understanding of design and development of data stores, database, data warehouses and associated toolsets would be advantageous
